The location and beach are magnificent. The staff are excellent, both in terms of room cleanliness and service at the restaurant and beach cafe. Proximity to the city center and airport is an advantage. But most importantly, the hotel has its own small sandy beach. You can step out of your room and reach the magnificent sea in just a few minutes. The hotel consists of villa-style buildings with 3-5 rooms, and the landscaping between these buildings is very beautiful. Small streams, palm trees, and waterfalls have created a truly peaceful and tropical environment.

The hotel may be rated 5 stars on paper, but the quality of the rooms is not 5-star. The furnishings in the room are old and the room is poorly maintained. The bathroom was broken and dilapidated. The first room we were given had a machine humming noise, thankfully they changed our room but the same humming noise was still there. We had trouble sleeping the first night, and the technician who came to fix the problem couldn't find a solution. Another thing that really annoyed us was the beach closing at sunset. We couldn't make sense of this—meaning, if you want to sit on that beautiful beach at night, watch the sea, and chat, it's forbidden!

The property is located in Old Jumeirha, with proximity to downtown town Dubai and some good authentic restaurants. Le Mer beach area is being redeveloped, so there are limited place one can walk to. Garden setting with rooms spread across separate villa buildings can be appealing to some, and the very small private beach is nice.

This is an older property with rooms and facilities in need of a refresh. At times we did not have hot water in the room, only certain pert of day -‘a short time, and the engineering staff were not able to fix or prove a clear explanation why. One of two pools was closed for 5 days out of 8 we were there. Despite clear written communication with the staff via Booking.com the room was not prepared for our 1am arrival and having paid for the room for one day prior. Restaurants on property were too expensive for the average quality of food they provided and service at one of the restaurants was “hit and miss”. Overall it seems like the property caters more to the day beach club clientele than to staying guests.

Apartments built into a lovely park, broad choice of facilities, very friendly staff who each did whatever they could individually to make guests feel great.

Occasional friction in service processes (sometimes frustratingly inexplicable); some of the buildings, furniture, bathroom fixtures are a bit old and visibly worn.

The breakfast was horrible

The rooms were old, too much noise from the workers at 3-5 am. Beach service slow. Breakfast was a disaster. No taste not a good selection and not really good food

I liked the bed it was comfortable

Not a good value for money and definitely not a 5 star hotel it seems like it used to be villas and it got turned into sectioned rooms. No spa so that’s a lie and honestly I wish I could have my money back and stay in a 3 star hotel like ibis at least it’s convenient

Two great staff members, Ashram and Ashraf ! So accommodating and pleasant. Beach was great, so many food choices. Excellent location!

The furniture is quite old (standard room) . The GYM facilities as well (old). Only one receptionist who is welcoming and knows how to smile. For the rest, smiling is not in their dictionary.

The location is great if you want to have beach and pools. Amazing greenery and landscaping. Superb staff. Good room size. Great food. Wonderful beach and lovely pools.

The pillows need change. The rooms need already some renovations. There was super loud noise coming from - probably cooling engines from behind my windows, could not sleep at all.

A big thanks to Ahmed in the front desk he is very kind and approachable,the room upgraded with my sister birthday was awesome?. The porter guys were also good?. Only the beach have curfew hours until 7pm only and even close at 6pm. When I checked. They give 30mins chance to use only the pool with rush to swim?.The beach was plan to enjoy but did not meet my expectations. Atleast max 9pm night swimming to enjoy the water, much better. Other than that over all was great place stay.

The reception staff are not cooperative. The rooms are external. We ordered food and after half an hour they contacted us that we must come to the reception to receive the order. How will we come and the golf car must come to our place to pick us up and we go to receive the food and then return to the room. It is a long time and the service is not helpful.

The facility and resort were astonishing, and the whole place was great. The staff were friendly, kind, and super helpful. It was one of the only hotels that has a private beach in the area.

My first room was quite messy; there were ants and some wood bugs. However, when I reported the issue, they upgraded me to a bigger room. The entire facility was great, but the room appliances were old, including the bathtub and other items. Everything in the hotel, from food to room service, was super expensive. While I wouldn’t say I had a bad experience overall, there were definitely some issues to address.
